im wondering if I could polish my black Carolina Lineman boots without damaging the leather or any other adverse side effects? I look at the outside stitching (since theyre work boots technically) and think that polish may damage it. Any thoughts?

Poordag here, can't into whites boots. I want some logger style boots like in OP but can't find anything close to that style for my price range ($230usd)
I kinda made myself like the look of carolina lineman and elms. Would definitely replace the laces on these with either black or white laces.
