On the contrary. I own a large collection of E.O. and can tell you they can be pretty nasty:
Almost all citrus e.o. are photo-sensitizing, some basil ones are carcinogenic, some others like clary sage can mess with your hormones, others can induce miscarriages on pregnant women, etc
Don't believe that just because they're natural they're better for your health.
Synthetics on the other hand have had a lot of testing and are way safer and regulated.
