I like what you're going for and the proportions are spot-on, but there are too many incongruous details which muddy the fit.
I'm essentially seeing 3 conflicting styles: Classic menswear via the sweater over button down combo, sporty from the sweater itself and the shoes, and then some romantic, casual luxury vibes from the pants. Focusing on the contrast between any 2 of these would make for a cool fit, but having all 3 is too much.

I feel you on the need to branch out, but I'm at a loss for inspo. I'm too old for the antifashion meme, and too spooky to dress like a proper adult. On top of that I'm working with a capsule wardrobe and tight budget ATM, so I've basically got access to my core pieces & Uniqlo for dgaf fits.
