I know it's a little bit late to ask but, can you wear 1460s in the summer and if so, how do you style them?

I will be going to see Denzel Curry, and the last concert I went to I fucked up my shoes pretty bad. I don't want it to happen again and I'm looking at some durable, preferably black shoes to buy.
Would docs be a good choice? Could I clean them up afterwards without too much of a difference from before I went to the show?

I tried a pair of 1960's today, I felt like I had to size down one size, anyone with the same experience? Kinda scared they'll feel too small eventually
