Love it but can never make my mind up, black or blue. Sometime I love the waves and sometimes I hate them, so I bought the older model used and put a new adjustable clasp on it. I always like the inky dial, maybe I'll get the new one but in no rush.

I've heard you can message Stowa and have the crown date stop removed but that's the same thing that put me off the brand as well. Buy the Oris used as they tank a bit, if you can push it to 2k I'd pick up a Seamaster but if not a used oris aquis is not bad, is it good looking watch. In person I like the blue but the green is different. I do think the Oris 65 felt better in hand and the way the braclet wears did it for me, not a fan of the mineral crystal back the uses on the newer aquis as well.

He's talking about a £500-600 watch, you end up recommending a £2700, come on! I would never use a non ceramic bezel watch as a beater personally.

It's fine, depends what else you have in your collection. I would just wear your better watches daily, life is to short to wear beaters. I'm going to my mates funeral tomorrow (cancer in his 20's, was given 4 months when he found out)

I like the BB58 but wasn't 100% on an aluminium bezel insert. Like everything else about it but sometimes it looks a bit dull vs other shinyer divers.

The AT was in the running until I realised it isn't that easy to read in some lighting which is the most important thing to me. I wasn't in love with the dial but liked the case shape and movement, polished links take it or leave it as well.

I'd probably pick up a used pelagos, ceramic matte bezel, ajustable clasp and I don't have any titanium watches over the AT and maybe BB58.

I ended up with a older ceramic seamaster, wanted a gloss dial, something more shiny, all my other watches have and are matte.

I have a Seamaster but can't help feeling I could do better. 1 or 2k + sell seamaster for the upgrade, worth it?

I don't think it is that thick, I have tried a few on and the gmt. Maybe I should just be happy with what I have, I picked the seamaster but the po and newer seamaster are in the back of my head.

I will try it on next time I see it! It has really grown on me. I think the Seamaster 300m wears perfect, no the helium escapse value never worried me, you don't feel it on wrist. I picked it up used from a jewellers for about the right money, could have got it cheaper of eBay but I've had some bad experiences on there lately.

I thought about the new wave dial, love the new movement but sometime I like the waves and sometimes I don't but in person they nice, ad lighting can be harsh, so you only really no in natural light. I'll probably even up with a new black wave dial of the grey maket.

Saw the blue dial and I was like oh wow that's really nice but was going out to Japan next week so I held off on it. I saw the black one out there and didn't bit (new wave dial was calling me) then I saw the same blue one again when I got home and it called to me so I pulled the trigger. First week I wasn't 100% I'd done the right thing, should have I got a new wave, aqua terra, planet ocean but now I know I was right to go with my heart at the time, I love the blue dial seamaster it was the right watch for me at the time, black in low light and blue in the sun. That said I would like to try a black one out but I do think the blue is more classy on the older ones. I think I'll keep the blue, I don't see myself selling it for a new wave, unless I have both in my collection and stop wearing it but I do want a new omega cal or a 36 explorer / no date sub at retail (good luck) would be nice.

Sorry about the bezel I have something in the oven
