Like the other anons said, buy some basics (shirts, sweaters, non-jean trousers, neutral shoes or boots, outerwear) from thrift shops or inexpensive stores like H&M, Uniqlo and Forever 21
Learning how to coordinate colours is also helpful but personally I just like wearing neutrals with one highlight colour
As for the chokers, try getting some in gold or silver instead of cummies pink
I used to dress just like you, and came here when I realised I needed to dress like a mature human being with their own money, even though it's true that a band shirt doesn't hurt every now and then. You just need to find a base style and customize it from their to suit your own personality
