Hey, I have long curly hair that reaches below my collar, I like it.

The problem is I need to get it trimmed slightly to work at a retail job, and every other time I have tried to get my hair cut it forms a jew fro sphere.

Saw this barber at the local air force base when my dad was getting his hair cut who has a man bun and tattoos, think I can trust him to do it right?

Also how short should I go? I plan on growing it back out once I get in.
