I bought a pair of boots in their SoHo store. It was odd because the staff felt like they were avoiding me and my friend, and when I had finally decided to buy they were all in the back so I had to go back there and ask someone to check me out.

As for sizing, they're on the RUI last and I find it to be long and narrow. As they've broken they feel less tight but they're still more narrow than I would have liked and there is excess lengthat the toe just because that's how the last is. Overall the boots are still stiff even broken in. I don't think the boots are great for me but I'm still eyeing a pair of their loafers.

I have the exact same pair of meermin boots, but I'm not sure I like them. The boots are a bit long(at the tip where it's too narrow for toes to fit) and I find I scrape the tip on the ground or get it caught on uneven sidewalk somewhat often. Also the counter is so hard it bruises my heels when I walk even a little far in them.

I've had this pair of meermins for three months but haven't worn them much so they're just starting to get broken in. My question is do I need to oil/wax/condition them already and if so how often should I do it? Also is it just me or does the dress shoe style straight lacing not suit these boots?
