Here's my hair from another thread when I was still hesitant (it's been months lmao, but I've resolved to cut it this summer). My hair tends to be puffy and a pain in the ass for the first two days after washing it, then it becomes good for a week.

As I said, I'll be travelling (lightly). That means no products, no hair drier, and little time to dedicate to this stuff.
Don't know if that kind of cut will still be a bit like having my mid-long hair right now (when I have zero bad hair days, whether I tie it or not it just looks alright) or if it'll be more like a short hairstyle which is always more difficult to tame.

I'll probably get something looking like that, all differences in hair texture aside. Is it layered? How much time do you spend taking care of it before you can go out?
