This is literally true. Why do you see it as negative?

I was a contrarian edgelord as a teenager (still 19 but whatever) and when I found the Smiths music I felt like "wtf is he me?" and I've loved their music ever since. They have not made a bad song. I enjoy all of them. His solo stuff is not as good.

He also hold some nice political views that I agree with.
