should I get white vans or white converse low tops to follow their legacy?

the chucks have 4-5 years, hundreds (thousands?) of miles, and have been to hundreds of shows of varying intensity. They leak water UP through the bottoms. Big toe on right shoes is wearing through the bottom and it's almost all the way thru, looks all rotted out and shit.

here's a shitty pic of my shitty collection. I have another pair of Vans that I don't like much and couldn't find. Basically, I haven't started to give a shit about what I wear until recently, and so the IRs are the only nice pair of footwear I own. Next purchase will be 875s and another pair of Vans I guess.

Iron Rangers: they're Iron Rangers and relatively new so nothing particularly interesting about them.

Converse: These were my every day, every situation shoes for 4-5 years. They have thousands of miles on them, they've been around the country, and have been to HUNDREDS of shows of varying levels of intensity. They're pretty much only worn to shows at this point, and will have to be retired from even that pretty soon because a hole is wearing through the bottom. I'm gonna nail them to my wall once they die.

Vans: they're just Vans and I haven't worn them in a while so they're covered in cat hair and shit
