>Do they keep decent time?
th Big Zero and "academic" keep acceptable time. the gold-plated one runs too fast by two minutes per day, but that's to be expected of a 50 year old watch that may not even have been serviced at any point
>What made you want to get Raketa in the first place?
I got interested in Soviet watches in general. it's like a hidden world of competitive factories that the average westerner knows nothing about.
I was drawn to Raketa in particular because I thought their designs were the best and the most interesting. They seemed more experimental too, with the 24-hour watch, the calendar watch and others.

honestly Raketa is such an underrated brand, they have so many funky interesting models that you can get vintage for dirt cheap:
>this Kandinsky inspired watch
>Copernicus
>24 hour polar expedition watch
>"atom" and other interesting dress watches
>"Perpetual" Calendar
>Big Zero

I don't think people mention them enough, I think they're much cooler than Vostok
