Long time rickfag here (sort of) AMA if you want.

Some general tips I learned from experience which give most people stress:

Something that gives people most trouble is shoes sizing: Regardless of what you hear online from weirdos talking about sizing. Rick makes only 2 main footbeds: the rubber one used for Ramones/Geos & the leather one used for boots/dress shoes. If you know your sizing for one of those footbeds, any shoe that uses it will fit the same. (INB4 retards come and claim otherwise)

I highly recommend thinking twice about buying any type of leather sock sneakers, because the leather is extremely thin and is known to rip easily at the heel reinforcement part, especially in newer season iterations. When you put them on, be careful and always grab the leather shortly above your heel and pull it up gently.

Most people buy their shoes WAAAY too big and talk shit about them being 'true to size' and whatnot. You WILL look ridiculous if you buy them too big. Rick shoes ALWAYS run huge and I recommend utilizing half sizes to find the one that you can just wear comfortably. The whole 'clown shoe' meme only came to existence because literally 90% of people buy the shoes way too big for them. If you buy the right size, your foot will fill out the silhouette and they will not look clowny at all. (for reference: I wear a 45 in Nike and 44 2/3 in Adidas and my Ramones/Geos are 42.5)

Don't bling buy anything without checking the material first! Rick makes most models in different material variations and they differ a lot. For example he makes cotton prisoner pants in RN (very thin), BG (medium) or F (very thick). Apart from warmth, this will also determine the way the piece will drape. I've seen countless people regret their buys because they expected a totally different material. Pay attention and always demand to see the inside label to confirm it.
