It worries me that we as a society now feel the need to have technology this accessible. It is now too slow to pull out the mini computer in your pocket, we need it on our wrist. I'm confused at how and of the apps on the iWatch are necessary. Checking the weather, checking the time in other nations and the movement of the moon in relation to the earth are all things that could be better done with a phone.

This new iWatch feels like a complete money grab by Apple. Think about the lifespan of the average Apple product. An iphone is redundant in 3-4 years or so. If you were to pay $400 for a watch, you would expect it to last you at least 6 years and you would be disappointed if it died before that. The nature of technology means that this iWatch will be a mini paperweight by 6 years and would require you to buy a new one. As if we need a new piece of hardware to replace? You already have to buy a new phone, laptop and desktop in that time and I can't justify the money for a new watch as well.

Stick to a watch that tells you the time and the date. It's simple, reliable and doesn't require you to charge it every 24 hours. For everything else, your life isn't too busy that you cannot pull a phone out of your pocket.
