Hey /fa/,
I've worn my Levi 501 STFs now for a little over 7 months, and while they're still going strong I was looking to upgrade. Particularly a skinnier fit, any recs?

Levi's Shrink to Fit.

Yes or no? Is it a good babby's first selvedge jean? I don't care about fades, I can't say no to a jean like that being under 40 bucks.

I'm 6"2' and want tight raw denim that fits in length.

go drop a pair of levi's 501 into a bucket and tell me what color the water turns
fwiw my pbjs never bled in water. they didn't last as many wears as 4.5 pairs of levi's probably would have, but they did withstand frequent washing without fading, they did last over 900 wears with modest repairs, and they did survive falling off of a fruity vespa clone at ~20mph with nothing more than a knee blowout and some scrapes on the rivets. 10/10 would buy again if i wanted jeans

nah, any denim with a lot of starch will do it specially after the first soak
levis 501 stf will stand after the first soak too
btw when i was complimenting the structure i was talkin bout seam placement
