I think they look great with cuffed slim jeans or cropped slim trousers. moreso when there are black or complimentary socks rather than bare ankles.

I think they look like shit with baggier pants (which is how they were styled in runway shows, if I remember), very skinny/tapered pants, or anything with stacks.

I don't think I have ever liked a fit where pants meet the rafdidas directly in any way. they sort of need to stand alone. also something heavy/bulky above the waist works well.

pic related is almost ideal for me, except the jeans need to be a bit looser.

all in all I think this thread is full of people who are too invested in either camp. yes they are expensive and can look like shit if styled wrong. but they can also look great if worn correctly, and of course anything from raf, just like any big name designer, is going to be expensive. don't know why we need to make these a more polarizing item than they inherently are, but I guess that's the 4chanz for ya
