My hair looks like this at the moment, i want to keep the length on the top but start tapering down to a fade on the side but i can't really find any pics of styles that arent just long top, short sides

I wanna keep the length until about halfway down my head but im worried it might look weird, does anyone have any inspo of cuts like that?
