You're over thinking it. It's just a website to catch some quick laughs. I am abusing the relative anonymity of this website. The things I post here, I share it with my brother and my friends, too, on different group chats and discord servers. 4chan is, of course, not my only online platform.
I really like to make other people smile and or laugh at stupid things.
