How robust and shock-proof are modern automatic movements? Mine fell about 1,5m taking it out of a cabinet. Seiko SN35 movement for reference. Keeps good time yet, should I keep an eye out on minutes lost/earned per day?

Fixed hole straps are bullshit, how do I remedy this? On a metal bracelet I fixed the issue by making one end longer, but textile/leather straps are odd.
