Nope, you are right to be bored of it, it's normal to have fatigue of a certain style when you have seen it so often. Moder rolexes are just soulless and true rolex fans know to stay away from them.

Currently i like the bubbleback rolex from the 30's with this comfy bonklip/Bamboo Ladder bracelt. The california dial is not entirely my taste. But i cant imagine how much this thing must cost and most importantly, how much of a bitch it is to service.

Expensive watches are silly anyway, even if i had money, i'd still feel retarded, overpaying for modern rolexes. Imo, the vintage ones looked better, but thanks to other retards that stuff also costs way more than it should. Here's the rolex that showed me how much more interesting the older ones were, just look at it. The california dial is not ideal, but just the case and bracelet alone are so much nicer to look at than the boring, modern crap.

Just recently discovered this rolex from the 30's. Damn this thing looks great, the proportions on smaller watches are so much nicer for me. Also domed glass. Even the california dial looks nice in small.
It's a bit sad that the bamboo ladder bracelets, like this Bonklip got out of style.
Would love to see a modern version of it.
I bet they are very comfortable, and i actually like the look, unusual and interesting.
