You didn't really contradict anything I said, did you? This is a bad thread, I say this as someone who is very deep into neofolk music and the cultural spheres it borrows from. It is a bad thread because from the very beginning some idiot made it about racemixing and the thread never really evolved past that. This is supposed to be about appreciating the beauty of older European culture, about mourning its decline and about reinventing it in an attempt to integrate postmodernity back into the continuum of European history. It's supposed to be about the dialectic of loving one's own people, culture, rgion etc and accepting the reign of the strong. It is supposed to be about the question whether the Kali Yuga can be impeded or whether one should take refuge in history, art and spirituality and try to preserve them for the time after it has passed. I don't have a problem with racism nor with edge, I am a social Darwinist after all and I hate the fact that NS aesthetics are being marginalised the way they are. Reducing the decline of the west down to racemixing is blatantly stupid though. The white world is decadent and weak, most importantly it is ripe for dying because it does not love itself, and this is not solved by saying "don't racemix mkay 1488". On the contrary, being crude about this sort of thing (and that's what is implied when someone says another post is "/pol/" - not necessarily disagreement with the content of a specific statement) detracts from the beauty that is supposed to be the focus of these threads. What do you think will draw people to abandoning their ethnomasochistic ways? Seeing the beauty of their ancestors' cultures and the interesting ways in which these can be adapted to the modern world with joy and dignity, or some guy ranting about the purity of the white race and reposting Knoch pictures? You are not only misrepresenting the culture, you are sabotaging your own cause. You catch more flies with honey than with But und Boden.
