When I quit smoking, most of my friends still did as well. What I found helped was I slowly cut back, and eventually I ended up actually replacing cigarettes with herbal smokes. Not sure where you live, but you should be able to find them in the bong shops if you have them. There's no tobacco and they taste really good, so you can still have the smoking sensation and social connection without killing yourself
