Hey dude, OP here. I did Accutane for 5 months or whatever the standard course is. 40mg, then alternating 40-80, then 80mg for 2 months.

It completely cured my acne and made my skin look better than it did when I was a fucking toddler.

The dryness goes away. Just use chapstick. I'd stay away from lotion though. You might sweat more than usual; it's normal.

My doc did blood work and said it was perfect, so I could drink on it. He like... seemed to encourage it.

I'd take a photo of your face each day. It's fun to monitor the progress. Good luck.

Okay, as for this Effexor shit...
I've only taken one pill. Went to bed at 2am yesterday. Woke up today at 6am... not tired, but no refreshed; can't sleep.
I feel mildly nauseous and overall... gross. And my hands are shaking more than usual. I can't fathom eating right now... nasty taste in my mouth despite tooth-brushing, mouthwash, and 3 glasses of water,

Today's the first day of class. I don't even want to get out of my chair. I feel apathetic. I'm gonna end up taking Xanax just to not feel the effects of this other drug. This seems counter-productive.

Does this feeling go away and it starts doing its job, or should I tell the doc to switch it now?
