I've been doing pretty shit at my engineering degree in uni and after passing all my exams for like the first time ever this semester, I've decided to get my shit even more together and get higher grades next semester and just stop slacking completely. I feel as if to truly commit to my goal of being 100% focused on engineering, I should sell off all my designer clothes and sneakers that I'd grinded for secondhand(fashion had been a pretty major distraction plus how I dressed alienated me from my peers) and go back to being basic and just not caring until I graduate and get my first job. I just had a moment where I realised that holy shit I really need to get my shit together and stop being a failure or I will never be employed. Anyway is this stupid or not?
