The lunarcore look is not alien core, that casual space trucker look can be found in lots of media, but it's not just *any* science fiction. The issue here seems to be that you see for example the picture of 5th element that I included there and think ALL of 5th element is lunar core or the Star Wars pilot suit and of course ALL of Star Wars is lunarcore, when really it's just those few specific costumes that have the look and it's not the imperial officers, Darth Vader, Chris Tucker and his leopard fur or the bimbo flight attendants.
