It seems insane but when you talk to people who do Uber and grub hub type shit it's actually pretty shocking how many of them are professionals that already make good money that just want to make a little extra money. My cousin's husband is a well paid software engineer with nearly 20 years experience(he started working with his own dad's company when he was still very young so he got a head start) and he does Uber and Ubereats delivery in their Tesla. It's a real rogues gallery - you have desperate people that are nearly destitute that can't do anything else working with trust fund kids that just think it's a fun way to make a little extra pocket money. Imagine being so rich you work as a gopher for fun.
