with leather from Baker's (one of Britain's last remaining oak bark tanneries)
that is a replica of long-lost traditional "Russia Leather"
which was recovered from a 200-year old Danish shipwreck
found off the coast of France in 1973

This is a clone of the original Russian calf which was recovered in a shipwreck
No clue if they got it right, doubt anyone is able to compare to the original centuries old leather
