also, if you don't wanna pay much at all. this Lorus right here. I have it and it's amazing for that price. it has a seiko movement inside, lume is great, finish is nice, has day and date window, even has lumed numerals. comes with a decent nato strap too.

it's on par with that wenger but cheaper because it's a japanese movement.

>Could I return it to Amazon?

yes, but it depends for how long you had it. if it's been too long then you can't return it.

>What's something that looks just as good but does not tick as loudly?

pretty much every Seiko/Pulsar/Lorus watch that is field watch style. like pic related which I have. doesn't even tick loud at all. can't hear it unless holding it very close to my ear. personally I also like certain Swatch Irony models. some look rather handsome.

a lorus I bought which is a very nice field watch for cheap.

>has day/date function
>screw-down caseback
>big lume hands AND even lume numbers
>nice nato strap
>100m WR
>only 9mm thick
>nice dark blue dial color

only downside for me is that the crown is way too big and since I'm left-handed I wear it on my right wrist. it doesn't exactly cut into my arm but sometimes I see a bit of a mark of the crown if I take it off. it has been bearable though.

Lorus seems like a great company. I mean, it's Seiko after all. I don't know any watch company that gives you so many features for little money.
bought this great field-watch (pic related) a year ago and it has all the features while still not costing much at all.

I mean, I'm not a fan of their digital watches even though they are not bad or anything.

that analog-digital watch looks fine though. of course it's a bit chunky. not really effay but good watch choice functionwise either way. they definitely compete with casio while still being less expensive and have better materials.

still, overall, the ones you have are not really everyday watch character either. I'd get an additional dress watch by Seiko or Orient (orient bambino) and a Seiko 5 automatic that is casual yet doesn't try too hard for everyday wear.

but yeah, you should up your watch game with classier looking watches.

it's quartz but cheap and reliable. very easily readable.
also, it looks gorgeous on a blue leather strap.
this dark blue nato strap that comes with it is better than the canvas strap of the Seiko 5 models.
