Literally the same thing happened to me and my brother.

>watch one of his videos
>think he's the most pretentious prick ever
>watch 2 of his vlogs with karlie in it
>start to like him a little bit
>accidentally land on one of his vlogs where he gets 3 days worth of shit done in a day whilst still filming everything
>become absolutely obsessed with his vlogs and binge watch 260 of them over a weekend.

>"i can't believe you watch that guy, he's such a hipster douche"
>link him one of my favourite vlogs
>now he binge watches every video and is now completely obsessed with him too

Anyone who gives another of his videos a chance will probably have the same thing happen to them too.
I wonder if that's just the way of all daily vlogers though?
It's like the truman show effect. Or some kind of offshoot of stockholm syndrome?
Like you expose yourself to someone to a certain point and you start to empathise and other shit.
I mean it's the only way I can explain how Roman Atwood or JacksGap have so many followers.
