Why not just save up a few years? Second-hand Speedmasters are always available around 4k USD, and you don't have to bother with box and papers. Just get a naked one from Japan; they'll always be available, and as preference for the 3861 increases, the desire for the 1861s will decrease, deflating the price back to pre-covid.
