Just eat under your TDEE by 500 to 1000. If you aim too high with your weight loss goals you'll just set yourself up for failure, disappointment and even more weight gain, especially starting off fat. If you struggle to lower your calories go down by 100 every couple days until you're losing at a rate of 1-2lbs a week. Definitely don't aim for more than that.
