I'm going for this hairstyle.

Question is, do I get my hair cut before I do this hairstyle ?

I am unsure about the sides. My hair is about 5 inches long all over. It is similar in length to Leo's from the top, and it is also wavy, like his.

But I am unsure about the length of the sides. Are his sides the same length as the top ?
