I've said this before but I think grey denim can go pretty well with the aesthetic. It might not be "lunar" in and of itself, but I have a gray denim jacket that I think would look pretty fantastic shrugged on over an otherwise lunar fit. It tones down the costumey vibe lunarcore sometimes has, but matches the color scheme perfectly and fits fairly well thematically. You know, that whole "blue collar .... BUT IN SPACE!!!" thing.

I think you could flip that fairly well too; throw on a lunar jacket, boots, but swap out the cargo pants for some grey jeans. If you can't see grey denim going along with any of the lunar fits people post here then I question your imagination. One of these days some extra on The Expanse or some similar show is going to sport a beat-up trucker jacket and then denim will suddenly have always been an acceptable part of the aesthetic.
