I've bought both Palladiums and cheap milsurp-lookin' chinese boots and I would choose Palladiums everytime. I love the way they look (more subtle than milsurp), they hold up longer, and you can find them at a pretty hefty discount on ebay on the regular. I've bought Palladiums that retail on their website for $125 for $30 on ebay, brand new.

Plus Palladium is having their St. Patrick's day sale on their website right now which gives you a code for 20% off sitewide, and a bunch of their styles are already on discount. I just bought some new style of theirs that I haven't tried yet, I'll report back on the quality when they come in the mail.

(Also note these boots run narrow in my experience, I'd size up)
