It's good to have a timegrapher on hand to measure things properly as you adjust. The gizmo I gave you the link to worked for me. I believe you can accomplish about the same results with a normal external microphone connected to your computer/laptop/phone and a relatively soundproof container. There's also the more expensive and obviously better tool for the job, which I'm planning on getting (you probably saw in the video too).
