So I've worn my old boots to the point where I've worn a hole in the sole. They're beat to shit and I'm looking to get a new pair.

I've been checking out the Red Wing moc-toe and the Red Wing iron ranger. I've also been looking at Thorogood boots.

What are your experiences with these styles/brands? How do they fit? Are they true to size or do they run short/long?

I am about to give up to be honest /fa/.

I just cant seem to find better boots for the price range.

SHould I just say fuck it and buy iron rangers?

So /fa/, how do you take care of your boots? I hear mink oil is bad. Do you use shoe trees? Or do you just beat them up like you won't wear them tomorrow, even though you know you will.

i really like iron rangers, still gonna try them on in-store, but you guys seem to really be against it
