I always tell everyone to go to St-Petersbourg, it's like a different country over there, it's not called the cultural center of Russia for nothing. Just don't go around being loud and entitled, Russians are exactly like niggers and will jump you in a group. If you're walking at night make sure you're not being followed, stay in the public eye. Visit St-petersbourg during the summer solstice, there's like only an hour of night time, it's magical. Make sure to visit the summer palace, skip the winter palace, you're going to spend the whole day in line just to get your ticket. Most young people speak english, though ususally very broken.
