Applying an fairly powerful oxidizer to broken skin is generally a no-no, as it hurts the sensitive exposed tissues. It is very likely to slow wound healing, and possibly aggravate scarring. Instead, clean with some kind of anti-bacterial solution (without alcohol) and put on some minor wound tape/cotton plaster/hydrocolloid plaster (if anything at all).
