I want to have short hair that doesn't make me look like a total nerd. I'm not Chad enough to just get a generic high and tight military cut and have it look okay anyway. I'm a pasty med student nerd just looking for something easy, functional, and not as bad as leaving my hair as it lies when I finish towel drying it when I get out of the shower. Any advice on accomplishing an acceptable look?

I know I'm going to get shit for posting a video game character, and for good reason if I remember the sticky thread with the yesstyle advice, but I do like his hair and if it's easy to do I would. But that's just how long I keep my hair usually, so if this doesn't work then please let me know another easy to maintain style that does.
