Is there any real way to get rid of dandruff? I've tried all the shampoos for it, and been to derms; all they do is tell you not to scratch, and if you say that you don't and yet you still have bad dandruff, they assume you're lying and prescribe you a topical medication to deal with itching, not to directly address dandruff. When I look around online, all I see are meme snake oil treatments like apple cider vinegar, which seems to be people's cure for -everything- these days.

Do I just have to shave my head? Is that the only escape?
