But your ideal really isn't grey man, it's the stereotypical ex-military/I've served at least three tours in the Middle East look. You could consider adding elements of techwear to your everyday look or you could go straight up goth-ninja if you have the cash.

Pics related might serve you well, from a distance it looks generic but choice pieces add flair.

I'm thinking about getting into techwear light/grey man (pic related) with a minor focus on modern military clothing as well. I"m almost certain I'm going to get the Arc'teryx Bora boot and Crye Precision's FieldSell 2 but I'm not sure where else to go for other low profile techwear basics. I particularly like the look of the modernized jodhpur style pants but I can't find any that don't cost an arm and a leg. Any help would be great.
