I assume it was an OUCA meeting. They're goons hated homogeneously both by normies and actual elite. There are no entry requirements and half of members are simply parvenues who wants to be a member of, what they consider, an elite club. It is not that hard to hear someone joking/referencing in Latin in Oxbridge and most of respectable colleges begin and end formal dinners with an ancient grace in Latin, though.
