Are these boots worth it? I really really like the color and style, however $400 is a significant investment and I don't anything about their reputation.

I need to buy boots for my mother, and I don't know shit about female clothing. Any suggestions?

She's about 50, so nothing that a 17 year old would wear. Budget is about 100 bucks.
