because god knows whether that style will stick around for very long, you might end up looking like an edgelord.

As for time being, I'd go for a sort of grizzled/dude look. Let's face it, no one's gonna miss the fact that you've only got one leg, so you may as well own it.

Here's what I'd do, if I was in your position. Get some jeans, maybe cheap ones at first while you're experimenting. Wear the full leg normally, but sloppily cut the other leg off just below where the stump ends. Don't make it all pretty. Wear a boot, overalls (with the shorn off leg, ofc) flannel shirts, loads of denim, some jackets, plain white T-shirts, try get a beard going, let your hair out, just go hard. Think modern vietnam-vet. Be like half Lieutenant Dan. Or double Lieutenant Dan. Idk how the maths would work.

Now here's something that's personal preference: Personally, I'd get some sort of underwear apparatus that covers the stump. It's just my own thing, but I personally get queasy when I see amputated limbs. Considering that with my suggestion your leg would be visible any time you were in a weird angle, I'd do it. You could just get rid of the cut-off-leg idea, but I think that would really be a great style, far more so than pinned jeans. You'd be doing your own thing.

This has sort of been just me braindumping so here's the things I consider most important:
1. cut the leg on all pants
2. wear overalls
3. workwear for inspo
4. long hair
5. don't get a space age looking prosthetic because in 10 years it'll probably look outdated as shit. Idk how long prosthetics are supposed to last, but it'd already look kinda dumb after 7 years and that sounds like a short time to me.

Anyway man, I'm really sorry to hear about your injury. I hope you manage to live a good life despite it. Hopefully finding your own style with this new look will help you get used to it

Personally I think, when getting a tattoo, you should aim to have something no one else in the world has either. That should be the ultimate goal. With 7bil people, that's obviously very unlikely but still. Taking a tattoo from tumblr or pinterest though is an awful idea.
