VERY humid, very hot most of the year. in the ranges of 35C much of the time.
I had considered a set of McRae jungle boots, but I don't want to look like a Vietnam GI larper at work. Not to mention: I'm not walking in a bog with them, they may see rain at most.

Red Wing used to make fabric boots for exactly my use case, but like everything else cool they made, they haven't made them in years.

Which comes back to someone else's suggestion: unlined Suede Chukkas. Kind of the reason they were created was for climates exactly like mine.

Does anyone recommend a good pair of Jungle Boots? Might find them at an Army Surplus Store or even on Amazon, but they look low quality.
