Not the guy you're replying to, but I kinda get what you're saying.
However, I got the opposite issue: My money just keeps getting more (cash, bank account, stocks… shit just keeps piling up) and while I'm still quite far from being rich, I can absolutely waste a few hundreds (or even a few k's) on shitters, but I can't really bring myself to do it. Fuck, contemplating a 150€ shitter since weeks, and when I come to a decision, it'll probably be sold out anyways.

Does anyone know that feel when you want to buy a new watch, watches even, and you have the money for it, but you don't do it, because it would just be a stupid waste of money?
And the watches you're on the verge of pulling the trigger on, are all cheap shitters anyways, even though you've go Rolex-tier money just sitting around doing nothing.
And then you think to yourself

and then you realize that this is more like gambling and a very stupid way of "investing".
And this goes on for way too long, meanwhile, all the expensive watches you had the quick brainfart of "investing" in, get more expensive every day…
