maybe keep the ratio where you're hair is shorter on the sides and longer on top but let it grow out a little bit and pull it back, pic related. You have a narrow face so it'd be better to fill the silhouette of your head with hair, growing a beard but keeping it short would help too, and all of that isn't really all that necessary, your face looks fine and your friends are dicks.
