First you have to wean him into fashion without being too overt about your intentions. His growing interest in fashion has to feel like an organic process. Does he respect you as a father? If not, trying to introduce him into fashion overtly sounds like "hey son you're a disappointment. Don't be such a pussy here's some raf now go outside and don't make me look bad." Uniqlo,Levis,zumiez,etc. brands people have already outlined here to replace his old clothes as like a 'graduation' present. Sports brands, hoods, basics, simple looks for all seasons. Nothing showy, an HY like a real white man. He should eventually grow a personal style on his own.

If he picks a fedora Bazinga meme shirt you explain why he shouldn't want that. Fashion is as much knowing why a fit's good as is knowing what is good. If he says fashion's for women and fags tell him to fuck off for being a good goy and call him a sheeple.

Sports is fine if he's interested in them. Main objective is to keep him fit AND interested in something he's good in. At least try to keep him on a good diet. I don't know how it is for Americans but where I am the smart kids are their own thing. If anything, they're the ones running the place and are generally well-known if not popular. Admiration comes from mastery. If its not a spergy or armchair interest then there should be no problem. Chess and computers are fine. Don't let him be the anime kid.

Lastly, be an example. If you dress like shit, eat like shit, get treated like shit he will emulate you if not completely lose respect for you and so end up in square one while his peers are on their second lap. He'll grow up maladjusted to a grown society that left him behind and end up here hi dad.
