why is dressing like you are 10 years younger than you actually are becoming a trend?

It's not as cringe as those people who dress 20 years older than they actually are, but it looks just as desperate.

Jesus Fuggen Chrest where do you attend? I thought my Differential Equations final at 40% of my grade was insane

When i was young i thought that there were mainly two types of shoes : casual and dress (excluding work shoes, etc).

Casual shoes were stuff like sneakers that you wore for everything outside of work, like hanging out with friends.

Dress shoes were meant for formal events and the office.

But i noticed there are a lot of dressy shoes that are not formal enough for the office (tan brogues for example) and yet they seem too dressy for casual occasions. I cant imagine going to uni or doing shopping in tan brogues for example.

So where/when do you wear those?

Has it occured to you that what you consider fashionable may not be true? That while you think you are well dressed, the rest of society is looking at you and thinking either "average" or "ew"?

Where do i go if i want to see fits with particular item?
