I'd say they're "ok" at best. I've had mine for about 1.5 years and after about 6 months both inner heals and the bend points on the outside delaminated. I also had a really weird smell problem. They got completely wet and they had an ungodly stench to them for about 4 months causing my feet to stink as well (I don't have foot odor problems). The smell problem went away after I stopped wearing them for about a month. It was so bad that I couldn't drive my car wearing them and I kept them in front of my house door because of the smell.

That being said after a short break in period they are quite comfortable, and the soles are pretty tough, they've saved me from getting a nail or two through the foot. I wear them around my shop and they've come into contact with oils and solvents and stood up to them well, and they don't get too slippy when the floor is oily. I've also done quite a bit of light to medium hiking in them, they do well there too.

All in all it's an ok shoe. I don't think I'll be getting another pair of these after they're done for though. I'm looking at the Viktos Overbeach Sneaker now.
